With appropriate professional support, each person can work toward becoming a stronger, more independent, and more fulfilled version of themselves. Drawing on a multidisciplinary approach encompassing conventional psychiatry, psychoanalysis, cognitive psychotherapy, behavioral therapy, neurology, and the treatment of substance- and alcohol-related disorders, we provide individualized therapeutic strategies tailored to each patient’s needs.

Our approach is grounded in empathy, openness, and professionalism, helping to create a trusting therapeutic relationship that can support you throughout your mental health journey.

How Can We Help You?

Protecting patient confidentiality and maintaining professional medical secrecy are fundamental principles of our practice, both ethically and legally.

Personal and clinical information shared with healthcare professionals during consultations is treated as confidential and is not disclosed to third parties, except where disclosure is required or permitted by law.

Confidentiality is an essential foundation of a safe and effective therapeutic relationship, fostering trust, openness, and mutual respect between the patient and the healthcare professional.

Stress is an inevitable part of everyday life, both outside and within our homes. Difficulties at work, conflict with someone we care about, loneliness, or concerns that have accumulated over time can affect us deeply. They may contribute to sleepless nights, anxiety, low mood, difficulty concentrating or thinking clearly, and changes in behavior.

When these difficulties become persistent or more intense, they can interfere with daily functioning, affect relationships with loved ones, influence performance at work, and ultimately reduce quality of life. Mental health difficulties are often not visible to others. At such times, having access to a comfortable and supportive environment and a qualified professional who listens, assesses, advises, and provides appropriate treatment—without stigma and with respect for confidentiality—can make an important difference.

Seeking professional help early may help prevent symptoms from worsening and support better treatment outcomes.

Your First Psychiatric Appointment

The first step is usually a comprehensive psychiatric assessment. During your initial appointment with a psychiatrist, you will have the opportunity to discuss your concerns, how they developed, and how they are currently affecting your life.

The psychiatrist may ask about your personal and family history, when your symptoms began, their severity and progression, previous mental health difficulties or treatment, and any other medical conditions you may have.

Depending on your individual circumstances, you may also be asked to complete specific questionnaires or standardized assessment tools. When clinically indicated, a physical examination, laboratory tests, or diagnostic imaging may be recommended to investigate possible medical factors contributing to your symptoms.

The information gathered during the assessment helps the psychiatrist develop an individualized treatment plan based on your specific needs.

Follow-Up Appointments

Follow-up appointments are often an important part of psychiatric care. They allow your psychiatrist to assess your progress, evaluate the effectiveness and tolerability of treatment, and make adjustments when necessary.

Some psychiatric medications require time to achieve their full therapeutic effect, and the dosage may need to be adjusted gradually. Individual responses to medication can also vary considerably. Regular follow-up therefore helps ensure that treatment remains appropriate, safe, and tailored to your clinical needs.

Our goal is to create a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment where we can work together to achieve your treatment goals and support your mental health and well-being.
